Loving companion of Tanya Paul. Grandson of Richard P. and Letitia Defillo, Jr., Herbert Taylor and the late Ruth Taylor. Great-grandson of the late Richard P. and Alice Defillo, Sr. and the late Beatrice Taylor. Nephew of 17 aunts, 9 uncles, many cousins and a host of friends. Employees of The New Orleans Police Department, Katie's School of Barbering, Isidore Newman School, Orleans Public Schools, Victory Christian Academy, Queen's Barber Shop, Serologicals and Reliagene Tech are invited to attend services on Tuesday, October 28, 2003. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home on Washington Ave. Christian Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, 5200 Canal Blvd. Arrangements by DUPLAIN W. Tyrin J. Defillo died Thursday of undetermined causes at University Hospital. He was 2 years old. Tyrin lived in New Orleans. Survivors include his father, Sherman J. Defillo Jr.; his mother, Tanya Paul; a brother, Sherman J. Defillo III; his grandparents, Arlene St. Cyr and Sherman J. Defillo Sr., Carolyn R. Taylor, Gloriadean B. Paul and Edward Lee Williams ; his great-grandparents, Veronica and Theodore Franklin, Letitia and Richard Defillo, Beril Brooks and Herbert Taylor Jr.; and his great-great-grandmother, Beatrice Taylor. A Mass will be said Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. Visitation will begin Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
