Mr. Thelisma "Tim" Hollier, 85, a native of Ville Platte and a resident of Lafayette, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 4:10 am in Opelousas General Health System.
He is survived by two daughters, Vickie H. Bellon and husband, Shelby of Iota and Pamela H. Huffstatler of Waco, TX.; two brothers, Burke Hollier of Ville Platte and Elvin Hollier of Sunset; one sister, Armance Tate of Mamou; and four grandchildren, Ashly Nicole Huffstatler, Lauren Michelle Huffstatler, Kyler Louis Bellon, and Brianne Michelle Bellon.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Deville Hollier and parents, Adam and Adalaide Hollier.
Burial in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery.
Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Mr. Mayance Hollier, 81, will be held Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 12pm in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery. Fr. Randy Moreau will officiate the services.
Mr. Hollier, a native of Leonville and a resident of LaPlace, died Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 12:58am at his residence. He also served in the US Navy in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Hollier of LaPlace; one son, John Hollier of LaPlace; three daughters, Glenda Suffrin & husband, Mike of LaPlace, Debbie Lipscomb & husband, Johnnie of LaPlace, and Peggy Schilling & husband, Wayne of Kenner; three brothers, Burke Hollier of Ville Platte, Tim Hollier of Lafayette, Elvin Hollier of Sunset; one sister, Armance Tate of Mamou; and four grandchildren, Taylor Provensal, Cara Hollier, Tyler Hollier, and Blake Schilling.
Mr. Hollier is preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Adalaide Hollier
