CHURCH POINT - Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Andrus, 92, were held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church here with burial in the Bellevue Cemetery in Opelousas.
Monsignor Fred Swenson conducted the services.
Mrs. Andrus died at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point.
She is survived by: two sons, Karl Andrus and wife Mary Ann of New Iberia and Keith Andrus and wife Kristie of Church Point; one sister, Velma Fitzgibbons of Oklahoma City, Okla., and one daughter-in-law, Becky Andrus of Houma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton R. Andrus; a son, Milton R. "Bob" Andrus II; and a granddaughter, Josie Brady.
Visitation was observed Friday from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of services. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday.
Guidry Funeral Home of Church Point was in charge of arrangements.
