Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Vidrine will be at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2008 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church., Oakdale with Father Augustine Mulanjanany officiating. Entombment will follow in New St. Ann's Cemetery & Mausoleum, Mamou under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Vidrine, 89, of Crosby, Texas entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 in her residence.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church's rosary group.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernell Vidrine; one granddaughter, Paula Martin and one great grandson, Cody Martin.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Panela Poston of Crosby, Texas; one step-son, James Vidrine of Point Blue; two brothers, Auley Hollier of Mamou and Dennis Hollier of Eunice; one sister, Odele Bertrand of Reddell; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale – Downtown location on Friday, June 13, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.

MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Auley Hollier, 85, of Mamou, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 10 a.m., Monday, December 17. Burial followed in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery. Mr. Hollier died Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. He was retired from the Air Force with 21 years of service. He was the owner of Hollier’s Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. He loved to fish, hunt and camp, as well as spend time drawing and painting. Survivors include his wife, Euna Naquin Hollier of Mamou; four daughters, Teresa Gayle Johnson Munson and her husband, Bernie, of Livingston, Texas, Sandra Faye Hollier Lafleur of Mamou, Belinda Hollier Johnson Andrus and her husband, Rob, of Suffolk, Virginia, and Karen Hollier Deano and her husband, David, of Atlanta, Georgia; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Octave and Eda Mistric Hollier; 12 siblings; and one grandson. Father Mark Melancon officiated. Euna Naquin Hollier

MAMOU It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Euna Marie Naquin Hollier, 84, announces her passing from this world to join her Savior in the next. She drifted away peacefully Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Golden Age of Welsh. Her life will be celebrated during a Mass of Christian Burial to be conducted at 1:30 PM Monday, October 6, 2014 at St. Anns Catholic Church of Mamou with Rite of Committal to follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Fr. Mark Melancon as Celebrant.
Mrs. Hollier was a life long, devout Catholic who dedicated over fifty years of her life in service of her Lord as a member of The Ladies Altar Society and took great pride in serving as a Eucharistic Minister for her beloved St. Anns. Euna lived her entire life in service of others she was a homemaker whose greatest endeavor was seeing to the care and well being of her beloved family. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, knitting, quilting and painting she left behind many handmade items that will be treasured by her family and friends for years to come.
Precious memories of her will forever remain etched upon the hearts of her four loving daughters: Teresa Gayle Johnson Munson and her husband, Bernie of Livingston, TX, Sandra Faye Hollier Lafleur of Mamou, Belinda Hollier Johnson Andrus and her husband, Rob of Suffolk, VA, and Karen Hollier Deano and her husband, David of Atlanta, GA. Her legacy will be carried forward by her twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two greatgreat grandchildren they were truly the light of her life.
She will now reunite in Heaven with her one and only true love, her husband, Auley Hollier, her parents, Lindsey and Mary McGuire Naquin, a grandson, Bryan Scott Munson and three siblings, Velma N. Ardoin, Clifford Naquin, and an infant sister. Their reunion will surely be a joyous occasion.
At the request of the Hollier family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Mamou beginning at 12:00 PM Sunday, October 5, 2014 and will continue until 8:00 PM that evening and will resume at 10:30 AM Monday morning and continue until the time of the service. A Rosary will be recited in her honor Sunday evening at 6:15 PM led by Fr. Thanese.
