- [S759] Louisiana, Acadia Parish, affidavits regarding Regina Hollier a.k.a. Ora Evelyn David, 14 September 1963; original held by Mike Lyon, Huntsville, Alabama.
That Regina Hollier and Ora Evelyn David were one and the same person is attested by the following three affidavits filed in Acadia Parish, LA:
STATE OF LOUISIANA
PARISH OF ACADIA
BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority personally came and appeared MRS. A. M. SCHEXNIDER
who being first duly sworn deposes and says:
"Before my marriage to Mr. A. M. Schexnider I was Anna Hollier. My father and mother were Lucien Hollier and Louise Clark Hollier, and Regina Hollier, now Mrs. V. Robert Lyon, of Montgomery Alabama is my sister.
When my sister was about two years old my father and mother became separated and my sister, Regina, went to live with Mr. and Mrs. J. B. David of Church Point, Louisiana. They elected to call her Ora Evelyn David and that is the name she has been known by up until the time she married. During the years that have interveined I have kept in constant contact with my sister Regina, and make this affidavit for the purpose of affirming that Regina Hollier and Ora Evelyn David, now Mrs. V. Robert Lyon are one and the same person.

STATE OF LOUISIANA
PARISH OF ACADIA
BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority personally came and appeared NICHOLAS CLARK
who being first duly sworn deposes and says:
"I am presently a resident of the city of Abbeville, Parish of Vermillion, State of Louisiana; I was personally and well acquainted with Lucien Hollier (Olier) and Louise Clark Hollier, both of whom are now deceased. Mr. Lucien Hollier was the father of four (4) children by a prior marriage, and his wife, Mrs. Louise Clark Hollier, was the mother of five (5) children by a prior marriage. Of the marital union which existed between Mr. Lucien Hollier and Mrs. Louise Clark Hollier there were two (2) children born, both daughters: (1) Regina Holier (Olier), who was born on the 24th of January, 1907 at Lafayette, Louisiana, and (2) Anna Hollier (Aullier), who was born on the 25th of January, 1909 in Lafayette, Louisiana.
When Regina Hollier was about two years old her father, Lucien Hollier and her mother, Louise Clark Hollier, became separated but not divorced. Regina Hollier's mother, Mrs. Louise Clark Hollier, because she was unable to properly care for her said daughter, permitted her said daughter, Regina Hollier, to enter the home of and live with Mr. and Mrs. J. B. David of Church Point, Louisiana. Mr. and Mrs. David raised and cared for Regina Hollier until she was grown and from the time they took her into their home they called her Ora Evelyn David instead of calling her by her legal name, Regina Hollier. Regina Hollier, who grew up under the name of Ora Evelyn David, as above explained, later married V. Robert Lyon, with whom she is now residing in the City of Montgomery, in the state of Alabama.
The purpose of this affidavit is to state, affirm 4t and confirm that I, the undersigned, know of my own personal knowledge that Regina Hollier, now Mrs. V. Robert Lyon, and Regina Hollier, are one and the same person. I further declare and affirm that I personally was acquainted with and know all of the parties hereinbefore mentioned.
