Funeral services for Mrs. Inez Hollier Horecky, 80, will be held at 2 p.m.Friday in St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas with burial in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Church Point.
The Revs. Gene Tremie and Angelo Cremaldi will conduct the services.
Mrs. Horecky, a resident of Opelousas formerly of Church Point, died at 11:49 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 1999, in Doctors' Hospital in Opelousas. She was a housewife.
Survivors include: a son, Richard M. Horecky and wife Elizabeth of Church Point; a daughter-in-law, D.J. Horecky of Jackson, Miss.; two brothers, Richard M. "Dickie" Hollier and wife Claire of Opelousas and Charles Hollier and wife Judy of Lafayette; a sister, Anne Hollier of Opelousas; seven grandchildren, Christine Bellard (husband Matthew) of Church Point, Mary Katherine Horecky of Church Point, Richard "Marty" Horecky Jr. of Providence, R.I., Elizabeth Horecky of Jackson, Miss., Lynne Musgrove (husband John) of London, John G. Horecky of Jackson, Miss., and Eric C. Horecky of Germany; and four great-grandchildren, Caroline and Amy Claire Bellard of Church Point, and Victoria and Kayleigh Horecky of Providence, R.I.
Mrs. Horecky was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad C. Horecky Jr.; a son, Dr. Conrad C. Horecky III; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Hollier Sr.; a brother, Jimmie Hollier; and two sisters, Edith Mahfouz and Bonnie Tilly.

Richard M. Hollier
Opelousas, La. Dec. 16—Richard M. Hollier, 54 years old, city engineer and brother of Mayor David Hollier, who died last night at the St. Landry sanitarium, will be buried this afternoon at 4 o’clock, with services and interment in the Catholic church and cemetery.
Mr. Hollier had been ill for less than a week. Several days ago he was stricken with appendicitis and immediate operation was necessary. It was found that the appendix had ruptured and complications which followed the operation caused his death last night.
Surviving Mr. Hollier are his widow, the former Gladys Perrault; four daughters, Misses Inez, Edith, Bonnie, and Ann hollier and three sons, Jimmie, Dickie, and Charles Hollier, all of this city; two brothers, Mayor Hollier and Preston Hollier, also of Opelousas; and four sisters, Mrs. Preston Dunbar, Mrs. Roger Dufilho of Opelousas, Mrs. Percy Collins, and Mrs. Polite [Hypolite] Robin of Port Arthur, Tex.
