    Francis Hollier
    Funeral services were held April 22 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Port Neches for Francis Hollier, 84, of Beaumont who died April 21 at St, Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Entombment was in Oak Bluff Mausoleum under the direction of Sheffield Funeral Home, Port Neches. Pall bearers were grandsons.
    A former resident of Houston and Pott Neches, Hollier was retired from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department with the 58th District Court. Survivors include three daughters, Bernice Norris and Kathleen Wright, both of Houston, and Beth Zipprich of Port Neches; three sons, Oscar and Francis Hollier, both of Port Neches, and Michael Hollier of Houston; a sister, Dell Spooner of Abbeville, La.; two brothers, Nelson and Howard Hollier, both of Abbeville; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

    Delphine Spooner, 99, Bemidji, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999, in Havenwood Care Center, Bemidji.Delphine Hollier was born Sept. 22, 1900, the daughter of Oscar and Euzide (Trahan) Hollier, in Vermillion Parish, La. She grew up and attended school in Abbeville, La. She worked as a telephone operator. She married Fred Spooner in August 1928, in Abbeville. They moved to New Orleans, where they operated the Mecca Grocery. Fred Spooner died in 1958. She retired in 1963. She returned to Abbeville to care for her father. In the early 1990s, she moved to Bemidji.
    She is survived by a son, Felix (Lois), Bemidji; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
    She was preceded in death by a granddaughter; and brothers, Nectar, Nelson, Villere, Howard and Leonard.
    Services: 2 p.m. Friday, St. Philip's Catholic Church, Bemidji.
    Visitation: One hour before services in the church, with a 1 p.m. Rosary.
    Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Bemidji. Memorials are suggested to St. Philip's Catholic Church or charity of donors choice (Olson-Schwartz, Bemidji).

    MICHAEL JOHN HOLLIER passed away on May 5, 2004. He was born on July 22, 1947 in Beaumont, Texas to Ollie Joyce and Francis N. HoIlier. He attended South Park High School in Beaumont and received a degree from Lamar University. His sister, Kathleen Wright Hollier of Houston, survive him. Michael worked for almost 30 years at Stewart and Stevenson, most of them in the Airline Products Division on Harrisburg. He was active in the Stewart and Stevenson Employee's Association. Involved in his community, Michael served in several offices, including President, for the Houston Country Club Place Civic Club. He served as a Trustee and Secretary of the Houston Gay and Lesbian Political Caucus and was involved in ACT-UP Houston. A lifelong Democrat, he served as a delegate to the State Democratic Convention several times. Michael volunteered as the manager of the Stone Soup Food Party of the AIDS Foundation Houston. He loved gardening and was active in several garden clubs. He was a devoted member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. With his friends, especially the Dinner Bell group, he made many gambling trips to casinos in Louisiana and Nevada. Michael will always be remembered by his friends for his good heart and generosity. He was always happy to see you and a delightful companion. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Michael John to the Stone Soup Food Panty of the AIDS Foundation Houston.     ABBEVILLE-Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014 at a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Patricia Hollier McNeill, 77, who died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
    Her son, Father Neil McNeill will be the Celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. The Most Reverend Bishop John Glen Provost, Bishop of Lake Charles will deliver the homily. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery.
    Patricia H. McNeill graduated from Mount Carmel Elementary in Abbeville. Later she would be a great collaborator and supporter of Catholic Education and would serve as president of both the Mount Carmel and Vermilion Catholic school board. Ms. McNeill would serve as a member of the Diocesan school board the Diocese of Lafayette.
    She also worked for many years in the field of public health in the Acadiana area as coordinator of the Nurse-Family Partnership Program for the regional area of Lafayette, a program designed to assist first time single mothers in maternal child health skills and socio-economic advancement.
    She was a devout Catholic and faithful member of St. Mary Magdalen parish in Abbeville where her funeral Mass will be held.
    She is survived by her son, Father Neil McNeill of St. Benedict, LA; and brother, Royce Hollier and his wife Patty of Conroe, TX.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Hollier and the former Dorothy Broussard.
    The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 300 Pere Megret Street, on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be prayed at 10:20 a.m.

    Leonard Royce Hollier, age 77, passed away at home on May 6, 2017. Royce graduated from Mount Carmel in Abbeville and USL in Lafayette. Immediately upon graduating from USL he joined the Navy for two years. He then moved to New Orleans and began his career in the petroleum industry. In New Orleans he met his future wife Patty, married in 1966 and became the father of two sons, Barrett and Jason.

    His career in the petroleum industry relocated Royce and his family overseas for 17 years. They lived in Scotland, Egypt, Iran, Dubai, Greece and Singapore. The family returned to the United States in 1988. In 1995 they opened La Boucherie, a specialty USDA food manufacturing facility, located in Houston.

    Royce was an avid golfer and a member of The Woodlands Country Club. He was an excellent chef and loved cooking for family and friends. His was truly "A Life Well Lived."

    Royce was preceded in death by his father, Leonard, his mother, Dorothy and his sister, Patricia McNeill. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Patty, his sons Barrett and wife Xuesong, Jason and wife Kimberly and his grandson Samuel Luke.

    A Catholic Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Abbeville, Louisiana on May 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM.
